This is a bold Pinot Nero w/ slightly riper red fruits than other old world PNs. Pale cherry on the eye. Med + intensity nose of cooked red cherry, raspberry w/ some peppery spice. Palate is similar red berries & a bit of pepper in the finish. Medium acidity, med - tannins / body, med finish. Pinot Nero 681 and Etta James = the perfect Pairing for the Week of July 11 to 17
