Oceano Wines Presents Beans & Beats Sassy Brunch
Beans & Beats Sassy Brunch was a fantastic event hosted by Dre from Love Music Love Wine on Sunday Afternoon May 07, 2023. The event was presented by Oceano Wines, featuring their 2018 and 2021 Chardonnay. It was held live from Curatus Wine Club and also available online on Mixcloud, Twitch, Facebook, and Twitter.
The event was graced by two special guests, Rachel Martin, President and Founder of Oceano Wines in San Luis Obispo and Juno Award nominee Canadian Musician Shakura S'Adia. The overcast weather and occasional rain outside added to the event's charm, making it a perfect cozy afternoon for a Sassy Brunch.
All the guests were treated to a fabulous brunch while sipping on the 2018 and 2021 Oceano Chardonnay. Rachel Martin shared her insights on the wine industry and spoke about being a woman in a male-dominated industry. She also discussed the two fabulously delicious Chardonnays, 2018 and 2021.
Shakura S'Aida talked about her latest album, Hold On to Love, which was nominated for Contemporary Roots Album of the Year at the 2023 JUNO Awards. She shared her experiences of the creative process during the pandemic and what it was like for a creative person. She also talked about some of the songs she wrote while spending time in Martinique.
