WINE SPECS:

Aged 18 months in 30% new French oak. 56% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Malbec and 8% Petit Verdot.

TASTING NOTES:

A standout vintage of this Painted Rock classic. Rich aromas of cassis, bramble fruit and eucalyptus. Full on the palate and elegantly balanced with bright acidity and polished tannins. Lingering dark fruit and nutmeg on the lengthy finish.

On Saturday April 24 I participated in a tasting that included this amazing red icon blend from Painted Rock after the tasting I spend some time listening Urban Hang Suite while sipping on this fantastic wine “perfectly balanced, good fruit berries and cherries, medium acidity, medium tannins. It’s a buy in my non-professional wine opinion.
